Job summary

Alpha seeks a Literacy Specialist to join our on-site team at a campus in the U.S. You will guide K–3 students through app-based core learning, identify reading gaps, and implement short, targeted sequences to close them.

In this full-time role, you will lead morning launches, language-rich activities, and classroom routines while tracking progress and sharing weekly data with families. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years directly with children ages 4-9.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree; teaching certificate not required, relocation support is available.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning and diagnose gaps.
• Lead short, structured-literacy sessions with 2–4 students.
• Oversee morning launch, workshops, and daily routines on campus.
• Drive weekly app goals using school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch and recess, planning for challenging cases.
