Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Literacy Coach to design and deliver structured-reading sessions for K-3 students using AI-adaptive analytics. You will drive motivation sessions, monitor progress with dynamic data, and ensure engaging, data-informed instruction in small groups daily.

Qualifications

Structured-literacy certification OR a Master’s degree in reading instruction
Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of K-3 structured reading instruction
Ability to design original reading lessons and explain instructional approach with data
Availability to work in person full-time at an Alpha campus in multiple US locations
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

Create small-group K-3 reading sessions using real-time adaptive-app data, rooted in structured-literacy approaches
Facilitate daily motivation sessions driving students toward weekly app targets
Analyze AI-generated performance metrics to adjust instruction during the day
Conduct running records, fluency assessments, and decoding evaluations to show weekly progress
Serve as a positive, engaging adult in daily contact with K-3 students
