Job summary

Alpha is seeking teachers (guides) to deliver app-based core literacy learning for K-3 students on a campus. You will diagnose reading gaps, design targeted mini-lessons, and keep students on track toward daily and weekly goals.

This full-time, on-site role requires relocation to listed campuses; you will participate in daily routines, assessments, and data-driven instruction. Compensation is $120,000 USD per year with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; teaching certificate not required.
• Structured-literacy training or a master's degree in reading or literacy required or preferred.
• 3+ years with children ages 4-9; reading instruction experience beneficial.
• Experience with Amira, Lexia, i-Ready for assessment and progress tracking.
• Comfort with diagnosing decoding gaps using running records and probes.

Responsibilities

• Get K-3 students to daily learning goals and close reading gaps.
• Coach 2–4 students in short structured-literacy sessions.
• Lead morning launches, literacy workshops, and classroom routines.
• Guide students toward weekly app goals using gamification and leaderboards.
• Remain with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a proactive plan.
