Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a Learning Coach to support K-3 students with app-based literacy activities on-site at multiple campuses. You will work with small groups, identify reading gaps, and design targeted sequences to close them.

You will lead morning launches, life-skills workshops, and daily routines, ensuring students stay engaged and progress toward weekly app goals. The role requires 3+ years with children, 2+ years in reading instruction, and structured-literacy training or a master’s in

Qualifications

At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9.
At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
Completed structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy.
Bachelor's degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required.
Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
Comfortable spending about 90% of the day guiding students through app-based learning.

Responsibilities

Coaching students through app-based core learning; identify gaps and unblock learning.
Run short structured-literacy sessions with small groups; diagnose gaps and teach sequences.
Lead morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
Drive students toward weekly app goals using rewards and gamification.
Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a proactive plan.
