Job summary

EBSCO Information Services (EIS) is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow revenue in public libraries and K-12 schools across a broad U.S. territory.

You will build strong business relationships, manage opportunities, and collaborate with product teams to drive trials and adoption of EBSCO databases. You will travel to meet customers (50%+), deliver compelling demonstrations, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Willing to travel 50–70% of the time.
• Live within the territory; preferably in Eastern PA; NYC area or neighboring markets.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with Office software and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and develop new opportunities to hit sales quotas.
• Meet targets for in-person visits (40 per month) and ensure coverage across the territory.
• Collaborate with Sales Director, Account Executive and product specialists to meet goals.
• Travel 50% or more; attend conferences and sales meetings as needed.
• Achieve expert knowledge of EBSCO Information Services products and competitive offerings.
• Deliver professional presentations using PowerPoint and live demonstrations.
• Qualify customer needs, prepare quotes and coordinate trials with the Account Executive.
• Maintain daily sales activities and pipeline for accurate forecasting.
