Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to visit public libraries and K-12 schools, build strong relationships, and generate new business while retaining existing accounts across DC, DE, KY, PA, NJ, VA, and WV.

You’ll collaborate with the Director of Sales and product specialists, travel 50%+, and develop expert knowledge of EIS products and competitive offerings; strong presentation skills with PowerPoint and live demos are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Experience managing a multi-state territory.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and develop new opportunities to meet quotas.
• Meet or exceed visits with potential customers (40 per month) across the territory.
• Collaborate with Sales Director, Account Executive, and product specialists to achieve goals.
• Travel 50% or more; attend conferences and meetings as needed.
• Develop expert knowledge of EBSCO Information Services products and competitive offerings.
• Deliver professional presentations using PowerPoint and live demos.
• Qualify customer needs, prepare quotes, and coordinate trials when appropriate.
• Maintain daily sales activities and pipeline for accurate forecasting.
