Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to visit public libraries and K-12 schools across DC, DE, KY, PA, NJ, VA, and WV, building relationships and generating new business while protecting existing accounts.

This field-based role requires up to 70% travel, strong presentation skills with PowerPoint and live demos, and collaboration with the sales team to meet growth quotas. A remote-friendly policy supports hybrid work, with on-site days at select hub offices;

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong organizational skills and calendar management.
• Experience with Office software and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and pursue new opportunities to meet growth and renewal quotas.
• Meet target for in-person visits (40 per month) and cover accounts in the territory.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales, Account Executive, and product specialists to reach goals.
• Travel 50% or more; attend conferences and sales meetings as needed.
• Develop expert knowledge of EBSCO products and competitive offerings.
• Deliver professional presentations using PowerPoint and live demos.
• Qualify customer needs, prepare quotes, and coordinate trials with the Account Executive.
• Maintain daily sales activities and pipeline for accurate follow-up.
