Job summary

EBSCO Information Services seeks a Regional Sales Manager to visit public libraries and K-12 schools, build strong business relationships, and generate new business while retaining existing revenue. The territory covers DC, DE, KY, PA, NJ, VA, and WV.

You will collaborate with sales leadership and product specialists, travel frequently, and master EBSCO products to drive growth and renewal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of true outside sales experience.
• Strong organizational skills and calendar management.
• Applicants must live within the territory (Eastern PA, NJ, Baltimore MD, or Richmond VA preferred).
• Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and develop new opportunities to achieve sales growth and renewal quotas.
• Meet or exceed target for in-person visits (40 per month) and cover accounts in the territory.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales, Account Executive, and product specialists to reach sales goals.
• Travel 50% or more, including conferences and meetings as needed.
• Achieve expert knowledge of EBSCO Information Services products and competitive products.
• Deliver professional presentations with slides and live demos.
• Qualify needs, prepare quotes/pricing, and coordinate trials with the Account Executive.
• Maintain daily sales activities and pipeline for accurate follow-up and forecasting.
