Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to visit public libraries and K-12 schools, build relationships, and generate new business while retaining existing accounts. The territory covers DC, DE, KY, PA, NJ, VA, and WV, with a flexible remote/field-based work model.

You will collaborate with the Sales Director and product specialists to achieve sales goals, manage quotes, and coordinate trials. Strong presentation skills and travel readiness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong organizational skills and calendar management.
• Experience with Office software and CRM tools.
• Applicants must live within the territory and travel 50-70%.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and develop new opportunities to meet growth targets.
• Meet and exceed in-person visits (40 per month) across the territory.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership and product specialists to hit goals.
• Travel 50% or more, including conferences and meetings.
• Develop expert knowledge of EBSCO Information Services products and competitors.
• Deliver professional presentations using PowerPoint and live demos.
• Qualify customer needs, prepare quotes, and coordinate trials with the Account Executive.
• Maintain daily sales activities and pipeline for accurate forecasting.
