Job summary

Vista Higher Learning, Inc. is seeking a Language & Literacy Sales Specialist to expand its K-12 customer base in central Texas.

In this role, you will leverage industry knowledge, product acumen, and consultative selling to win new business and grow existing accounts. You will develop territory strategies, build strong relationships with educators and administrators, and deliver targeted presentations for print and digital programs, while coordinating with Sales, Development, and Marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years in consultative sales, account management, or similar role with a track record.
• Experience in publishing, ed-tech, language learning or related industry preferred.
• Strong technology orientation and experience presenting/demonstrating to varied audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using a CRM to manage sales activities and accounts.
• Excellent prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, territory management and active listening.
• Attention to detail, organization, time-management and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals by acquiring new business and expanding adoptions within territory.
• Maintain deep product, territory, and customer knowledge to tailor solutions.
• Use consultative selling and active listening to match offerings to customer needs.
• Strategically map and penetrate territory; deploy effective sales strategies.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales and training presentations for print and digital programs.
• Build strong educator and administrator relationships; engage current and potential customers.
• Participate in national sales meetings, events, and on-site team gatherings.
• Proactively identify new opportunities and follow up with customers to resolve issues.
