Job summary

Vista Higher Learning, Inc. is seeking a Language & Literacy Sales Specialist for the K12 team to expand our Texas footprint. You will leverage consultative selling, product knowledge, and presentations to win new business and grow existing accounts.

You will travel up to 60% within central Texas, engage educators and administrators, and collaborate with Sales, Development and Marketing to drive customer success and product adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum.
• 1+ years of experience in consultative sales or business development.
• Experience in publishing, ed-tech, language learning or related field.
• Strong technology orientation and experience presenting/demonstrating to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using a CRM to manage sales activities and accounts.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within central Texas.
• Preferred: Salesforce.com familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve sales goals by winning new business/adoptions and increasing sales within existing accounts in the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain understanding of VHL products, territory, market, and customer needs.
• Use consultative selling and active listening to win opportunities and align product offerings with customer needs.
• Manage territory and develop account penetration strategies with smart selling techniques.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales and training presentations for print and digital programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with educators, administrators, and customers.
• Participate in national meetings, events, conferences and on-site team meetings.
• Proactively follow up on new opportunities and resolve issues with customers.
