Job summary

Vista Higher Learning, Inc. seeks a Language & Literacy Sales Specialist for our K12 team. You will expand our customer base across Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado, calling on educators and administrators with consultative selling and product demos.

You should have a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years in sales, with CRM experience and a proven ability to build relationships. Travel up to 60% is required; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years of experience in consultative sales, account management, or a similar role.
• Experience in publishing, ed-tech, language learning or related industry.
• Strong technology orientation with demonstrated presentations or demos.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
• Experience using a CRM to manage sales activities and accounts.
• Excellent prospecting, consultative-selling, negotiation, territory management and active listening.
• Attention to detail, organization, time-management and follow-through.
• Strong drive, entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve sales goals by winning new business and upselling within the territory.
• Develop and maintain understanding of products, territory, market and customer needs.
• Use consultative selling and active listening to win opportunities and align offerings.
• Manage territory and develop penetration strategies with smart selling techniques.
• Prepare and present persuasive sales and training presentations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with educators, administrators and customers.
• Participate in national sales meetings, events and conferences.
• Proactively identify and follow up on new opportunities and address customer issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Development and Marketing teams.
• Attend networking and sponsorship events to build contacts and brand awareness.
