Jobvite, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Language & Literacy Sales Specialist to grow our K12 footprint. You will call on schools and educators, deliver consultative presentations, and align VHL products with district needs to drive adoption and growth.

Based in San Antonio or Austin, you should be willing to travel up to 60% within central Texas, with the opportunity to expand to other regions. Compensation includes a $65k–$85k salary plus sales incentives depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year of consultative sales or account management experience.
• Experience in publishing, ed-tech, language learning or similar industry.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills for diverse audiences.
• CRM experience to manage sales activities and accounts.
• Excellent prospecting and territory management abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 60% within central Texas.

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve sales goals by winning new business and upselling within existing accounts.
• Develop understanding of products, territory, market and customer needs.
• Use consultative selling and active listening to win opportunities.
• Manage and map territory, develop penetration strategies and employ smart selling.
• Prepare and present persuasive sales trainings for print and digital programs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with educators and administrators.
• Participate in national sales meetings, events and on-site team meetings.
• Identify new opportunities and follow up with customers to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Development and Marketing teams.
• Attend networking and sponsorship events to increase contacts and brand awareness.
