You will build relationships with educators and administrators, while maintaining a home office and coordinating with school calendars. This role emphasizes strategic lead generation and market expansion across districts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of K-12 curriculum needs.
• Proven record of sales and goal achievement.
• Diagnose needs before pitching solutions.
• Propose personalized solutions based on district challenges.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Articulate how solutions support core curriculum and outcomes.
• Proactively build targeted lead generation strategies.
• Balance new business with existing account growth in territory.
• Align product offerings with state/district objectives.
• Discuss instructional strategies with educators and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective customers to explore and present digital product solutions in the K12 market.
• Achieve and exceed the sales revenue goal in assigned budgets.
• Partner with decision-makers within districts to present Cengage solutions to improve student achievement.
• Seek new opportunities for growth and increase market share in the territory.
• Participate in network-building opportunities within the territory, including conferences and industry events.
