Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive adoption of digital product solutions in the K12 sector. You will meet with prospective customers virtually, target and exceed sales goals, and craft strategic territory and business plans designed to grow revenue across assigned districts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven record of consistent sales and goal achievement performance.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to formulate and carry out sophisticated sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with customers, prospective customers, internal partners and management.
• Territory management and time management competencies.
• Strong proficiency in business technologies including Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
• Maintain a home office and hours aligned with school schedules.

Responsibilities

• Meet virtually with prospective customers to explore and present digital product solutions in the K12 market.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Build and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to cultivate growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate territory forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools.
