Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to expand our K–12 educational reach. You will cultivate relationships with school districts and educational programs, especially in early childhood and educational markets, while exploring middle and high school segments.

In addition to a base salary, Lakeshore offers uncapped commissions, great benefits, and a dedicated sales support team to accelerate growth across territories.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Solid presentation skills and ability to speak to customer needs at all levels.
• Strong work ethic, team player mentality and ability to perform outstanding work from home.
• Candidates should reside in East Bay area and be able to travel within territory, including 20% overnight stays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Securing new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, responsible for a designated geographical area.
• Partnering with internal sales resources to support needs and increase business.
• Consistently calling on, building, and maintaining relationships with customers within assigned territory.
• Collaborating with your RVP/RD to build, adjust, and drive sales strategies.
• Targeting key customers and begin to assess and uncover customer needs.
• Communicating respectfully and clearly to inside partners in regular meetings with HQ departments and sales channels.
• Participating in local, state and national conferences to promote the Lakeshore brand.
