Lakeshore Learning Materials in Oakland, CA is seeking an energetic Regional Sales Manager to expand our K–12 educational footprint, building new and existing district relationships and broadening into middle and high schools. You’ll join a results‑driven team with a strong marketing and sales support system; there is an uncapped commission structure and a competitive base salary, with travel about 20%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales experience and proven entrepreneurial know-how
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Solid presentation skills and ability to speak to customer needs at all levels
• Strong work ethic, team player mentality and ability to perform outstanding work from home
• Candidates should reside in the Oakland, Castro Valley, or Berkeley area, with broader East Bay travel (~20% overnight)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Great attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Secure new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders across a designated geographical area
• Partner with internal sales resources to support needs and increase business
• Consistently calling on, building, and maintaining relationships with customers within assigned territory
• Collaborate with your RVP/RD to build, adjust, and drive sales strategies
• Target key customers and begin to assess and uncover customer needs
• Communicate clearly to HQ departments and sales channels to streamline communication and increase sales
• Participate in local, state and national conferences to promote the Lakeshore brand
