Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative to learn and support branch operations. You will engage with members across in-person, phone, and digital channels, assist with basic transactions, and begin exposure to broader financial services under supervision.

The role requires high school completion and a genuine interest in customer service, with ongoing training on core modules and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union.
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Must complete the Credit Union’s Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional, and timely manner across service channels—in-person, phone, and digital.
• Process transactions in the appropriate system and balance a cash drawer according to performance criteria.
• Operate a drive-through window as needed and balance vaults, ATMs, teller cash dispenser, and coin sorter.
• Assist with wire transfers, foreign currency orders, and deposits; troubleshoot account, card, and online access issues.
• Maintain records and documents, and collaborate with other departments to fulfill member requests.
