Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Jr. Network Specialist to support a New York-area school district.

You will spend the workday addressing a wide range of issues, from AD password resets to network connectivity, with a focus on deskside support for 300–500 staff, teachers, and students. You’ll work with executives and staff, collaborating with senior engineers for Level 2/3 tasks, and use ServiceNow to manage tickets.

Qualifications

• Strong Active Directory experience for user accounts and password resets.
• Good grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, LAN/WAN and network basics.
• Experience with ticketing systems and resolving incidents.
• Customer-facing role with clear communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside support to a school district, 300–500 staff, by resolving tickets and incidents.
• Assist with Level 2/3 technology support alongside engineers.
• Handle Active Directory tasks, network connectivity issues, and classroom tech like smartboards and Chromebooks.
