Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Network Specialist to sit onsite in a Westchester County, NY school district. You will spend 100% of your day handling L2 IT support for staff and students, resolving tickets in ServiceNow, and working directly with executives, teachers, and staff to maintain network reliability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting routers, switches, and servers, supporting web filters, managing group policies in Active Directory, and providing day-to-day software help.

Qualifications

• L2 IT support experience in a school or educational environment preferred.
• Experience handling tickets in a ServiceNow system.
• Strong experience with AD group policies and Cisco networking devices.

Responsibilities

• Sit onsite within a Westchester County, NY school district and handle 100% L2 IT support.
• Resolve tickets in ServiceNow for staff and students, working with executives, teachers and staff.
• Troubleshoot routers, switches, and servers; support web filters; manage group policies in Active Directory.
• Provide day-to-day software support, troubleshooting and desk-side break fix for PCs, printers, smartboards and phones.
• Mentor Jr. Network Specialists on site and assist with summer projects (rollouts, migrations, upgrades).
