Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer, Jr. to help maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure while delivering frontline customer support. This role emphasizes reliability, performance, and secure operations in a sensitive enterprise environment.
The position supports our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO, and requires US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of IT experience with emphasis on cloud operations and customer support.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and maintain cloud infrastructure with high availability and performance.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues with strong technical support.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support user consumption of cloud applications in a large enterprise environment.
- Engage in application monitoring to identify performance or availability issues.
- Continuously monitor supporting infrastructure to identify scalability and performance concerns.
- Develop and maintain documentation for application support procedures.
