Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a Junior Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer to support a critical intelligence customer. The role centers on maintaining cloud infrastructure, delivering excellent customer support, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams in a high-security environment.

Located in St. Louis, MO, candidates should have a IT-related bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in cloud operations with AWS and Linux proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related technical discipline; 2+ years IT experience with cloud operations and customer support is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and customer-focused technical support capabilities.
Experience with AWS and Linux environments; familiarity with DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Respond to and resolve customer issues, providing top-tier technical support.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support user consumption of applications in a complex enterprise cloud environment.
Monitor applications to identify and address performance or availability issues.
Continuously assess application infrastructure for scalability and performance improvements.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for application support procedures.
