Located in St. Louis, MO, candidates should have a IT-related bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in cloud operations with AWS and Linux proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related technical discipline; 2+ years IT experience with cloud operations and customer support is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-focused technical support capabilities.
• Experience with AWS and Linux environments; familiarity with DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.

As a Junior Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Junior Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.

Job Description:

In this role, you will join our Continuous Operations Release Environment (CORE) team, providing high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions to our clients. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, emphasizing operational excellence, efficiency, and exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
• Respond to and resolve customer issues, providing top-tier technical support and customer service
• Collaborate with various engineering teams to support the user consumption of applications in a complex enterprise cloud environment
• Monitor applications to identify and address performance or availability issues

What You'll Need

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the IT field, related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud operations and customer support

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience delivering customer-focused technical support
• Knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., RedHat, CentOS).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Nexus).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
