Job summary

Prometheus Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a junior account manager to sell Prometheus Group products and services to new and existing customers, and to develop a healthy sales pipeline to drive revenue growth.

You will establish relationships, deliver product demonstrations with Account Executives, and contribute to regional strategy while maintaining accurate Salesforce records and meeting quota targets.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Business, Communication or related field.
• 2-4 years’ sales experience within software.
• Customer-focused, results-driven, excellent communicator.
• High energy, self-starter who can learn quickly and engage clients.
• Able to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as within a team.
• Foreign language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Territory Development.
• Achieve or exceed quota targets.
• Develop effective opportunity/account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth.
• Establish and maintain key relationships at multiple levels within the assigned accounts.
• Develop and deliver overviews, presentations, and coordinate high level product demonstrations to new and existing accounts.
• Participate in development of the assigned region, including accounts, relationships, profiling and sales cycles.
• Maintain a rolling pipeline and keep it current and moving up the curve.
• Support promotions and events in the region and maintain Salesforce with accurate data.
• Find and nurture opportunities by cold calling and following up with leads.
• Generate a sufficient number of new opportunities per month in coordination with Account Executives.
• Articulate business value to prospects and gather needs related to the solution.
