Job summary

Syensqo is launching the Foundations for the Future Industrial development program for entry-level engineers in the United States. The program offers hands-on field work, rotates across US sites, and prepares engineers for future manufacturing and business roles.

You will participate in 18–24 month rotations, relocate 2–3 times, and work with a supportive engineering team to develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to safety, quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering obtained between December 2024 and Spring/Summer 2025
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Successful completion of an internship or co-op in a related environment such as chemical, pharma, oil & gas, pulp & paper or food & beverage
• Willingness to relocate for rotations (18–24 months) across US sites

Responsibilities

• Lead production performance improvement projects and support the engineering department across safety/environment, quality, capacity and cost initiatives
• Analyze and improve current processes and manage industrial/manufacturing excellence projects
• Propose, test and implement improvements and new techniques; provide maintenance expertise on reliability and cost improvements
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and interface with purchasing/construction for project execution
• Deliver a portfolio of R&I projects and contribute to research/innovation strategy
