Job summary

Syensqo is seeking entry-level engineers for the Foundations for the Future Industrial development program. You will rotate 18–24 months across multiple sites in the United States, performing hands-on field work and solving analytical problems in chemical manufacturing environments.

You will gain experience as a Process, Production, Maintenance, or Project Engineer while relocating 2–3 times, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering obtained between Dec 2024 and Spring/Summer 2025.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Successful completion of internship or co-op in a related environment (e.g. Specialty Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, or Food & Beverage).
• Willingness to relocate for 18–24 months across rotations.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; other languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead production performance improvement projects and support the engineering department in various fields (safety/environment, quality, capacity, competitiveness).
• Analyze and improve current processes; manage industrial and manufacturing excellence projects; ensure process safety and product quality.
• Coordinate between internal and external stakeholders and manage engineering deliverables for projects.
• Interface with purchasing and construction; deliver project execution missions.
• Oversee an R&I project portfolio and contribute to the innovation strategy within own perimeter.
