Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of medical device or healthcare sales experience.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience in orthopedic joint replacement or similar surgical device sales preferred.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Familiarity with hospital procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Joint Replacement Sales team to meet revenue and market share targets.
• Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and create data-driven territory plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and stakeholders to drive loyalty and penetration.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and clinical support teams to align on priorities.
• Prepare and manage sales budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize pricing strategies and discounts.
• Provide hands-on support in operating room consultations and customer or account issues.
• Use sales data and CRM tools to generate forecasts, track progress, and implement performance improvement plans.
• Promote Stryker’s mission of improving healthcare through ethical, customer-focused sales practices.
