Job summary

The City of Fort Collins seeks a Technician II, Client Services to serve as the first point of contact for college and customer IT needs. You will deliver top-tier assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software, and guide users through technical challenges.

Responsibilities include deployments, documentation, and user training while supporting enterprise tools and infrastructure in a full-time, on-site role in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED; related licenses or certificates considered.
• Preferred: college degree or equivalent in information systems or related field.
• Minimum three years of related experience in technical support or equivalent.
• Certifications: Microsoft (MTA), CompTIA A+, Cisco CCENT, or Apple ACMT/ACiT.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-point-of-contact support for IT requests and service
• Install/upgrade enterprise applications, OS, and hardware
• Troubleshoot OS and enterprise app issues with senior staff
• Set up hardware and configure operating systems
• Create/edit documentation, scripts, and tools for supported systems
• Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments and apps
• Provide user training for staff and analysts
