City of Colorado Springs IT Department is seeking a Technical Support Analyst II to join our team. This full-time role provides advanced technical support, troubleshoots hardware and software, and helps keep systems running smoothly across city operations.

Responsibilities include building OS images, deploying devices, maintaining assets, and coordinating IT projects. Candidates should have 3 years of IT support, a high school diploma or GED, and a CompTIA Security+ within six months.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of full-time IT support experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct technical support to end users and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Build, update, and configure OS images; ensure compatibility across hardware.
• Replace, image, and configure desktops/laptops; document asset changes and wipe drives securely.
• Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues; install/apply patches and coordinate vendor repairs.
• Lead or participate in IT projects; document workflows and train IT staff.
