Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist I in Columbia, SC. This on-site role supports day-to-day operations by providing end-user support, desktop and network troubleshooting, and training for enterprise applications.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, assist with IT projects, and help ensure business continuity. A driver’s license and strong customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or MIS-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of technical support experience for PCs, networks, and servers.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Apply technology to address business needs and constraints.
• Assist staff to maximize use of computing resources.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting on IT issues.
• Provide desk side training for enterprise applications.
• Work with Systems Administrators on IT infrastructure processes.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• A valid US Driver's License is required.
