Job summary

HDR is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to help staff efficiently use computing resources and resolve complex IT issues. You will work on enterprise applications, participate in IT projects, and provide desk-side training as needed.

This on-site role includes a schedule with standard shifts and on-call coverage to support 24/7 operations in the Pittsburgh area. A technical background and strong customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of technical support experience for PC, networks and servers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply technology to address business needs and constraints.
• Assist staff to maximize utilization of computing resources.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting on IT issues and support for software applications.
• Participate in enterprise IT projects and initiatives.
• Provide desk side training for enterprise applications.
• Coordinate local office IT topics and communicate issues.
