Job summary

OpsTech IT, the global IT support function behind Amazon Operations, seeks an IT Support Engineer I to join our Hebron-based team in Kentucky. You will provide network engineering, troubleshooting, and systems administration across diverse environments, ensuring uptime during production hours and supporting management with technical IT insights.

Qualifications

Must have 1+ years of Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
2+ years troubleshooting in high-availability environments.
2+ years PC repair, deployment, and decommissioning experience.
1+ years delivering IT client/server/network services.
2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP).
2+ years supporting Windows/Mac/Linux in a corporate setting.
2+ years maintaining a corporate network.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: 2+ years networking experience.
Preferred: Experience supporting video/teleconference equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide network engineering, troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration.
Keep infrastructure networking and computing systems available during production hours.
Partner with management and staff to deliver analytical and technical IT support.
Manage local technical projects.
Maintain or develop policies, procedures, and process documentation.
Identify root causes of operational problems and inefficiencies.
May lift up to 49 lbs and stand or walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
May travel up to 25% of the time.
