Job summary

Amazon's Ops Tech Solutions is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for hardware, OS, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geographic area.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, manage local technical projects, and collaborate with management to improve IT solutions, with travel within local/regional area and shifts up to 12 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of professional IT experience.
• 2+ years in multi-user high availability environments.
• 2+ years networking experience (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years PC repair and deployment experience.
• 1+ years IT service delivery experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering, data cabling, and systems administration across varied software and hardware.
• Ensure infrastructure remains available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical support for IT solutions.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Maintain or create IT policies and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues.
• Travel within local/ regional area to support customers.
