Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for hardware, operating systems, or enterprise software. You will determine when to depart from SOPs to achieve results and troubleshoot straightforward problems.

You will contribute to network engineering, data cabling, and system administration while ensuring availability during production hours, and you will support ongoing IT improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience.
• 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling and systems administration in various software/hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Providing analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT solution improvements.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Lifting up to 49lbs and standing/walking during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Traveling up to 25% of the time.
