Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to provide hands-on support for hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software. You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, assist in implementing technical solutions, and contribute to IT infrastructure improvements.

The role includes travel within the local region and lifting up to 49lbs during 12-hour shifts. Initial responsibilities include network troubleshooting, systems administration, and collaborating with management to enhance IT

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux OS support experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting in various software and hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT solution improvement.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and travel locally to assist.
