Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an IT Support Engineer I for Ops Tech Solutions (OTS). The role involves implementing technical solutions and providing high-quality support for hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geographic area.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, participate in network and infrastructure tasks, and help improve IT solutions while adhering to SOPs or adapting as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in IT support.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
• 1+ years IT client/server and network service delivery.
• Fluent in Cisco networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across varied software and hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT solution improvements.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
• Lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
