Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an IT Support Engineer I for the Ops Tech Solutions team to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geographical area.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, supports IT infrastructure, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement in IT solutions. Travel within the local region is expected.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• Fluent in Cisco/networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across software and hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking remains available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT improvements.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Travel within local/ regional area to support customers.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and remote sites.
