Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS), to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality hardware, OS, and enterprise software support across sites in New Jersey. You will troubleshoot straightforward problems and support multiple buildings in a defined regional area.

The role involves traveling within the local region, supporting customers, and maintaining IT infrastructure during production hours.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.
2+ years of professional IT experience.
2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
2+ years networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP).
2+ years PC repair, deployment, liquidation.
1+ years IT client/server delivery.
Fluent in Cisco networking and either Linux or Microsoft.
Possess a valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

Network engineering and troubleshooting across diverse software/hardware environments.
Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
Managing local technical projects.
Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
Identifying root-causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
Travel within local/regional area to support customers.
