Amazon’s Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) seeks an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for hardware, OS, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geo-area. Troubleshoot and resolve straightforward issues and support IT infrastructure.

You will travel locally to support customers. Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years in IT support, with networking (DNS/DHCP/TCP/IP) and PC repair experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP).
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• Fluent in Cisco/networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Certs such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware, AWS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling and systems administration.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, including remote locations.
• Traveling within the local or regional area to support customers.
