Job summary

Amazon IT Support Engineer I, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS), is responsible for implementing technical solutions and delivering high-quality support for hardware, OS, and enterprise applications across sites in a defined geographic region. You will troubleshoot straightforward problems and override standard practices when needed to achieve results.

Role emphasizes supporting IT infrastructure, collaborating with teams, and driving continuous improvement in IT solutions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years professional experience.
2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP).
2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment.

Responsibilities

Network engineering and troubleshooting across diverse environments.
Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems stay available during production hours.
Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT improvements.
Manage local technical projects.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and processes.
Identify root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations.
