Job summary
Amazon IT Support Engineer I, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) provides hands-on technical support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software. You troubleshoot straightforward issues, sometimes deviating from SOPs to deliver results, and you will join a global IT support team supporting Amazon Operations.
Responsibilities include network engineering, systems administration, project management, and maintaining IT policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of professional IT experience.
- 2+ years of networking and troubleshooting in a multi‑user environment.
- 2+ years of PC repair, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Network engineering and troubleshooting across diverse hardware/software environments.
- Infrastructure availability during production hours.
- Provide analytical/technical assistance for IT solutions.
- Manage local technical projects.
- Create and maintain IT policies and processes.
- Identify root causes of operational issues.
- Ability to move up to 49 lbs; stand/walk up to 12 hours.
- Support customers across buildings and remotely.
- Travel within local/regional area to support customers.
