Job summary

Amazon IT Support Engineer I (OTS) provides hands-on support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geographical area. Troubleshooting and basic problem solving are required to meet production needs.

Role involves network engineering, data cabling, and systems administration, with local project management responsibilities and travel within the local region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of professional IT experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or IT-related field experience including networking, Linux, Microsoft administration, or Cisco configuration.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across diverse hardware/software environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical/technical support for continuous IT solution improvement.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes and inefficiencies in operations.
• Support customers across multiple buildings and regions; occasional travel within local area.
