Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to deliver high-quality hardware and operating system support across sites in the Dallas, TX region. You will troubleshoot in multi-user environments, assist with IT project delivery, and help maintain enterprise networks and infrastructure during production hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with Windows Server technologies including AD and SCCM
• 2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment experience
• 1+ years IT client, server, and network service delivery
• 2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP) experience
• 2+ years corporate Windows/Mac/Linux OS support experience
• 2+ years maintaining a corporate network environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling and systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
