Job summary

Amazon Tolleson is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in the Arizona region.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, adapt standard practices when needed, support IT infrastructure, and help manage local projects to keep systems available during production hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience
• 2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience
• 2+ years IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
• 2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
• 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across software/hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Interact with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for IT solutions.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Support customers from multiple buildings in the area, and remote customers.
• Travel within local/regional area to support customers.
