Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Fall River, MA, is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in a defined region.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, support IT infrastructure, and help improve IT solutions while working across multiple buildings and travel within the area.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2 years of professional IT experience.
• 2 years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2 years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP) experience.
• 2 years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment.
• 1 year of IT client, server, and network service delivery.
• Fluent in Cisco networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting in various software/hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT solutions improvements.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations.
• Travel within local/regional area to support customers.
