Amazon.com Services LLC in Michigan is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software. You troubleshoot straightforward problems and contribute to IT infrastructure improvements.

You will work across networking, systems, and project delivery in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. Shifts may involve evenings or weekends, with travel up to 25% to support operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support.
• 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across software/hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Traveling up to 25% of the time.
