Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Associate II for Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) to support IT issues across Amazon Operations facilities in a defined geographic area. You will troubleshoot, deploy, and maintain IT equipment and collaborate with teams to resolve problems quickly.

Responsibilities include handling support requests, training new hires, and continuous learning of new technologies, with travel within local/regional areas.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
• Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
• Assisting in training new hires.
• Continuous learning of new technologies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
