Job summary

Amazon IT Support Associate II, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) supports Amazon Operations facilities with hands-on IT troubleshooting across multiple disciplines and proactive equipment maintenance. You will help ensure uptime and security while delivering dependable technology services to our teams.

This role emphasizes customer service, continuous learning, and collaboration with on-site and remote colleagues as you resolve issues and implement new tools in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Allocation, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities
• Handles support requests and procedures across the network
• Assist in training new hires
• Continuous learning of new technologies
• Ability to support customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers
• Ability to move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk for 10-12 hours at a time with or without reasonable accommodation
