Job summary

Amazon in Missouri is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across sites in a defined area.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, collaborate with teams to improve IT solutions, manage local projects, and help maintain secure, reliable networks. Travel within the region may be required; lifting up to 49 lbs and long shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Windows Server technologies such as AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM.
• 2+ years troubleshooting in multi-user high-availability environments.
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and disposal experience.
• 1+ year IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years supporting and maintaining a corporate network.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across diverse software and hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for IT solutions improvements.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and remote sites.
• Travel within local or regional area to support customers.
