Job summary

M/I Homes is seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk professional in North Carolina to provide first-level support for end-users across divisions, handling hardware and software issues and documenting resolutions.

You will assist with Pivotal, JD Edwards, Outlook, and Microsoft Office, and help onboard new employees while maintaining user satisfaction and timely problem resolution. A CS-related bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of help desk experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a help desk environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Provides first level support for end-users with computer applications and hardware issues.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves problems; documents and tracks issues for timely resolution.
• Configures computer systems and handles installation and troubleshooting for network issues.
• Conducts new employee training on PC functions, Outlook, and related tools; creates build documentation.
• Performs additional duties as required.
